Enclosed are three unopened hand-sized bars of soap embossed with the Presidential Seal on one side and the image of the White House on the other.  The original gold and white box accompanies the soap and the box is in wonderful condition except for some tearing caused by tape on the bottom of the box and on back of the box.  The box looks perfect from a display point of view since no tearing is evident on the top, front, or sides of the box.

The soaps were acquired over a decade ago from an auction of the items owned by the estate of Eugene Charles Allen.  Mr. Allen was a famous White House Presidential waiter and servant for over 34 years.  He passed away in 2010 at the age of 90.  The 2013 movie titled “The Butler” was based on his wonderful life and service.  This is a great piece of history.
