Chris Ware was a student at the University of Texas in Austin who created a comic strip for the student newspaper around 1990. The strip was about a depressed mouse called Quimby that was a cross between Felix the Cat and the one and only Mickey.

The 6" Quimby and the 1" diameter cat head are in excellent condition with the original tail and wirelike ears. This toy was probably manufactured around 2004, but for those who have never seen a Quimby or the cat head, this toy does invite you to experience the imagination and creativity of Chris Ware.

When you study the figure, you will find several other traits of cartoon characters that have been incorporated into this creation.

The box is in excellent condition and the wire arms and legs are fun to play with.
