- Description
This 7" long, 5-1/2" tall, and 2-3/4" deep green metal box would be found hanging in military, railroad, and production facilities during World War II.
The three complete wound care packets in the box were made for Southern Pacific Railroad, and the pack includes a triangular bandage, two gauze pads, a safety pin, and a two-yard-long gauze roller bandage.
The tin hanging box is in very good condition with no rust, and there are normal scratches to the metal with the gold lettering present.
The added message on the tin box stating the wound packets comply with California law was added as a taped message to the box.
